...LOCALLY DENSE FOG TO AFFECT THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA THIS MORNING...

SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS AND MOIST AIR FLOWING OFF LAKE SUPERIOR HAS
PRODUCED FOG THAT IS REDUCING VISIBILITIES FROM A QUARTER MILE TO ONE
MILE OVER THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA THIS MORNING. THESE LOWER
VISIBILITIES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS...ESPECIALLY
OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN...BEFORE GRADUALLY DIMINISHING THIS AFTERNOON
AS SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR MOVES INTO THE REGION.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN...ALLOW PLENTY OF BREAKING DISTANCE
FOR CARS AND OBJECTS AHEAD OF THEM...AND USE THEIR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS IF
TRAVELING THIS MORNING.
