...Cold air funnel clouds possible over portions of west and
central Upper Michigan this afternoon...

The cooler air mass in place today combined with weak daytime
heating and instability will provide a favorable environment for
the possibility of cold air funnel clouds across portions of west
and central Upper Michigan this afternoon. The Marquette County
Dispatch Center in Negaunee reported that a funnel cloud was
sighted in Forsyth Township early this afternoon.

Cold air funnels look threatening, but rarely touch the ground to
become tornadoes.
