The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Knox County in eastern Tennessee...
  Northwestern Blount County in eastern Tennessee...
  Southeastern Anderson County in eastern Tennessee...

* Until 930 AM EST

* At 626 AM EST, doppler radar indicated heavy rain in the Knoxville
  area. Local law enforcement reported minor flooding of poor
  drainage areas. Up to two inches of rain have fallen and more is
  expected this morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Clinton, Alcoa, Farragut,
  Louisville, Rockford, Eagleton Village, Halls, Friendsville,
  Maloneyville, Karns, Bearden, Powell, Lake Forest, Clover Hill and


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
