THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
AND MONTEREY BAY AREA

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LOCALLY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS MORNING WITH BRIEF WIND
GUSTS BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH. IN WAKE OF THE FRONTAL PASSAGE,
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. BRIEF HEAVY
DOWNPOURS ARE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOCALIZED URBAN
FLOODING IN LOW LYING AREAS. SMALL HAIL IS POSSIBLE WITHIN HEAVY
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. IF THUNDERSTORMS TRACK OVER BURN
SCARS...DEBRIS FLOW POTENTIAL WILL INCREASE.

IN ADDITION...HAZARDOUS BEACH CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE
COAST. THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF SNEAKER WAVES, RIP CURRENTS
AND LARGE SHORE BREAK.

SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING AND AGAIN SUNDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY BEFORE DRYING CONDITIONS DEVELOP FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.

HAZARDOUS BEACH CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
A BEACH HAZARD STATEMENT IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PST SUNDAY.
