THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR COASTAL SECTIONS OF THE SAN
FRANCISCO BAY AREA...AS WELL AS THE SOUTHERN MONTEREY BAY AND BIG
SUR COAST.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SEASONABLY COOL WEATHER IS FORECAST ALONG WITH LIGHT TO MODERATE
NORTHWEST WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE NEAR THE COAST ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON
AND BECOME LOCALLY STRONG AND GUSTY BY LATE AFTERNOON. STRONG
WINDS WILL THEN CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING BEFORE SUBSIDING
SOMEWHAT LATE SUNDAY NIGHT. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE AGAIN ON
MONDAY AFTERNOON. HOWEVER...WINDS ON MONDAY ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE
QUITE AS STRONG AS LATE ON SUNDAY. STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED AT
WEST AND NORTHWEST-FACING COASTAL AREAS AS WELL AS THROUGH
COASTAL GAPS. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH ARE FORECAST ALONG
WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. LOCAL GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. A
WIND ADVISORY MAY BE ISSUED FOR LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

WINDS WILL DECREASE IN ALL AREAS ON MONDAY NIGHT.
