HIGH PRESSURE WILL PROVIDE PLENTY OF SUNSHINE TODAY...ALONG WITH SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THIS HIGH WILL GIVE WAY TO AN INTENSIFYING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY. THE LOW IS FORECAST TO PASS WELL TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF THE AREA. SNOW IS POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT. THEREAFTER...UNSETTLED WEATHER WITH TIMES OF LIGHT SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH MID WEEK AS ANOTHER AREA OF LOW PRESSURE PASSES SOUTH OF THE AREA...AND A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE REMAINS NEARBY TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. IN GENERAL...EXPECT TIMES OF SNOW FROM LATE MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...AND INTO WEDNESDAY. THE SNOW SHOULD BE LIGHT MOST OF THE TIME WHEN IT DOES FALL.
