Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to
continue to move across the southern Texas Panhandle through 6 AM.
While widespread rainfall amounts will be low, but localized
amounts of a half inch could be possible. Wind gusts up to 35 mph
are also possible with these storms. Locations which could be
impacted include Amarillo, Canyon, Vega, Boys Ranch, Hereford,
Panhandle, and Claude.

.NOW...
A line of heavy rain producing thunderstorms across the Oklahoma
and northeastern Texas Panhandles will continue to slowly move
eastward through 6 PM. These storms could produce additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches. Watch for ponding on roadways
and do not attempt to cross any flooded roads. Also, some
embedded stronger storms could produce wind gusts up to 45 mph.
These storms are expected to move into western Oklahoma later
this morning.
