Showers and thunderstorms continue to develop across the southern
Texas Panhandle and spread to the north and northeast. This activity
is moving north northeast around 20 mph. The area of greatest activity
is developing near the south central Texas Panhandle and spreading
north to near the Oklahoma Panhandle. Lightning and small hail around
pea size will be a threat, along with temperatures just below
freezing. Freezing rain will produce light ice accumulations
especially on elevated surfaces such as on windshields and
overpasses. The shower and thunderstorm activity will continue to
move to the north and northeast through noon CST.
