Including the cities of Boise City, Keyes, Guymon, Beaver,
Forgan, Dalhart, Stratford, Spearman, Gruver, Perryton, Booker,
Higgins, Follett, Hartley, Channing, Dumas, Borger, Miami,
Canadian, Vega, Amarillo, Panhandle, White Deer, Pampa, Shamrock,
Wheeler, Hereford, Canyon, Claude, Clarendon, and Wellington

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will move east at
35 MPH across parts of the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles early
this morning. Most of the showers and thunderstorms will remain
north of Interstate 40 through 6 AM. Brief gusty winds to around
45 MPH can be expected with the stronger storms. Brief locally
heavy rain will also occur. Through 6 AM, hourly rainfall amounts
up to six tenths inch can be expected. Additional showers and
thunderstorms are expected to occur later today and into this
evening, affecting additional parts of the Panhandles.
