Stratford, Spearman, Gruver, Hartley, Channing, Dumas, Borger,
Vega, Amarillo, Panhandle, White Deer, Hereford, Canyon,
and Claude

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop through the early
afternoon across the western two thirds of the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles. Brief gusts around 40 MPH or higher can be expected
near the showers and thunderstorms. The slow moving storms today
will be capable of producing brief heavy rains as well. The
showers and thunderstorms are expected to diminish in coverage and
by 10 PM this evening.
