PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST COLORADO...

.A STORM SYSTEM WILL PUSH SNOW NORTHWARD OVER NORTHEAST COLORADO
BEGINNING SUNDAY MORNING. PORTIONS OF ELBERT... LINCOLN AND
WASHINGTON COUNTIES ARE EXPECTED TO SEE PERIODS OF MODERATE
SNOWFALL SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. SOME FREEZING RAIN IS
EXPECTED TO MIX WITH THE SNOW FOR A TIME TO CREATING HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS. WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE BY MONDAY
AFTERNOON WITH THE STORM SYSTEM MOVING AWAY FROM COLORADO.

MORNING TO 11 AM MST MONDAY...

* TIMING...AREAS OF SNOW WILL MOVE NORTH INTO LINCOLN COUNTY AND
  THE PALMER DIVIDE AROUND SUNRISE, SPREADING NORTH THROUGH
  SUNDAY. AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN ARE EXPECTED TO MIX IN AT TIMES
  ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM LIMON TO AKRON TO SEDGWICK.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO ONE-TENTH INCH.

* WIND/VISIBILITY...NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH MONDAY MAY
  PRODUCE LOW VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...THE SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATION COULD PRODUCE
  HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. DRIVERS SHOULD ANTICIPATE SLOW
  TRAVEL AND POSSIBLY BRIEF ROAD CLOSURES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
