...FREEZING DRIZZLE/PATCHY ICE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING AWAY FROM THE COASTLINE...

TEMPERATURES LATER TONIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WILL FALL
AT OR BELOW FREEZING AWAY FROM THE COASTLINE. THIS INCLUDES THE
WEST AND NORTHWEST SUBURBS OF BOSTON AND PROVIDENCE...ALL OF METRO
WORCESTER...TO SPRINGFIELD AND HARTFORD CONNECTICUT. MEANWHILE
MOISTURE OFF THE OCEAN IN THE FORM OF LOW CLOUDS WILL BEGIN TO
OVERSPREAD THE AREA AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES. THERE MAY BE
SUFFICIENT MOISTURE FROM THESE CLOUDS TO RESULT IN SPOTTY LIGHT
FREEZING DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BE
SPOTTY SO NOT ALL LOCATIONS WILL BE IMPACTED.

NEVERTHELESS BUILD IN SOME EXTRA TRAVEL TIME INTO YOUR TUESDAY
MORNING COMMUTE. KEEP IN MIND BRIDGES...OVERPASSES AND SECONDARY
ROADS ARE MOST VULNERABLE TO ICY SPOTS. IN ADDITION EXERCISE
CAUTION IF WALKING LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING AS SIDEWALKS
AND DRIVEWAYS MAY BECOME SLIPPERY.

IF FORECAST CONFIDENCE INCREASES ON A MORE WIDESPREAD ICING EVENT
A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MAY BE ISSUED LATER THIS EVENING. THUS
STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS AND DISCUSSIONS.
