Low temperatures dropped into the upper 20s across Essex County Vermont last night. This is considered a hard freeze. The National Weather Service will no longer issue Freeze Warnings or Frost Advisories for Essex County Vermont this year. Frost/Freeze products will resume in the spring. People living in elevated terrain or near lakes within these zones who have not had a freeze may wish to monitor the latest forecast for freezing temperatures.
