...Icy Secondary Roads and Sidewalks This Morning...

At 555 AM...mixed wintry precipitation was coming to an end across
northern New York and Vermont. Although air temperatures have
warmed into the mid 30s to near 40, ground temperatures remain
below freezing from the recent arctic air mass of the past couple
of days. This means some roads and sidewalks are icy this
morning, especially back roads and untreated surfaces. Use extra
care when venturing out this morning.

Surface conditions should gradually improve throughout the mid to
late morning hours as air temperatures continue to climb into the
40s and ground temperatures warm as well.
