...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS EASTERN GALVESTON ISLAND MOVING
TOWARD THE BOLIVAR PENINSULA AND SOUTHERN CHAMBERS COUNTIES THROUGH
545 PM CST...

At 442 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms making its away toward the Bolivar Peninsula and
southern Chambers County from the west. Radar is estimating 30 to 45
mph winds just above the surface. Some of this could mix down and
cause strong wind gusts.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Gilchrist, Rollover Pass, High Island, Bolivar Peninsula, Crystal
Beach, Port Bolivar and Pelican Island.
