FOR NORTHWESTERN ST. MARTIN AND NORTHEASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISHES...
At 644 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Morganza to near Ramah, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Krotz Springs, Melville, Bayou Current, Henderson, Atchafalaya
Welcome Center, and Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
