.NOW...

Through 430 PM...

Showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will continue to quickly
move at around 40 MPH across the southern TX Panhandle and South
Plains. They will eventually begin to emerge into the Rolling
Plains. Rainfall of a few hundredths of an inch will be likely
with most activity...though a tenth of an inch may be possible
with the heavier activity. Cloud to ground lightning has also
occurred in a few locations. Remember...when thunder roars...go
indoors! Already gusty winds from a passing upper level low may
be briefly enhanced from the heavier storms...up to 55 mph.
