THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS LATE
THIS AFTERNOON WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS FROM
THE EXTREME SOUTHERN PANHANDLE THROUGH THE ROLLING PLAINS. LOCALLY
INTENSE RAINFALL WILL AMOUNT TO AN INCH OR TWO IN SOME AREAS ON
THE CAP-ROCK...ESPECIALLY JUST NORTH AND WEST OF THE LUBBOCK AREA...
LEADING TO MINOR FLOODING. STORMS IN THIS AREA ALSO WILL BE
CAPABLE OF MARBLE SIZED HAIL AND VERY STRONG WIND GUSTS TO AROUND
50 MPH.
