Through late afternoon, scattered showers and occasional
thunderstorms will affect the southern Rolling Plains, with very
spotty and small showers farther west across the southern South
Plains. Movement of this activity is northeasterly around 15 mph.

Areas near and east of a line from Lake Alan Henry to White River
Lake can expect the greatest coverage of rainfall, with some
strong wind gusts at times. Heavy downpours in these areas could
produce a quick 1/2 inch or more of rain.
