.NOW...
Through 6 pm...scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
continue to develop across the southern Texas Panhandle, South
Plains and Rolling Plains. The strongest storms will be capable of
producing brief downpours, cloud to ground lightning, wind gusts
to 50 mph and perhaps small hail as they race eastward around 35
mph. A few spots that may be affected include Childress,
Northfield, Matador, Roaring Springs and McAdoo as well as
Lubbock, Sundown, Brownfield and Union. If you hear thunder seek
shelter indoors or inside a vehicle and wait for the storm to
pass.
