Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region

A stationary front will remain just south of the region tonight.
This will keep clouds in place overnight with areas of patchy fog.
A second disturbance will approach from the west leading to
showers developing overnight. Lows will range primarily from the
upper 40s to lower 50s across the area.

Friday will begin with clouds and some showers, especially across
eastern sections as weak low pressure moves through. Temperatures
will remain seasonably cool due to clouds and a light wind off the
ocean. Highs will range from mid to upper 50s for eastern
sections, with lower 60s across New York City and western

Clouds will linger across the region Friday evening, with some
patchy fog across parts of the area. Weak high pressure will
nudge in from the northwest late Friday night into the start of
the weekend bringing partial clearing to the region.
