A COASTAL LOW TRACKS FROM OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST THIS MORNING TO
THE CANADIAN MARITIMES BY THURSDAY MORNING. PRECIPITATION DEVELOPS
THIS MORNING MAINLY AS RAIN. THE EXCEPTION IS FOR A RAIN AND SNOW
MIX FOR AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY...THERE THE
PRECIPITATION SHOULD TURN TO ALL SNOW BY AROUND MIDDAY.
ELSEWHERE...SNOW AND SLEET WILL MIX IN WITH THE RAIN IN THE
AFTERNOON...TURNING TO ALL SNOW BY EARLY EVENING. THE EXCEPTION IS
OVER FAR EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE TRI-STATE WHICH MIGHT NOT FULLY
CHANGE OVER. WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION ENDS FROM WEST TO EAST
WEDNESDAY AROUND MIDNIGHT.

COLDER AIR WORKS ITS WAY INTO THE REGION FOR THURSDAY AS HIGHS WILL
BE AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. ISOLATED SNOW AND RAIN SHOWERS
ARE POSSIBLE AS WELL AS THE STORM PULLS AWAY TO THE NORTHEAST.

HIGH PRESSURE THEN BUILDS INTO THE TRI-STATE INTO FRIDAY. SOME
LINGERING FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT...THEN FRIDAY SHOULD
BE MOSTLY SUNNY AND COLD. LOWS THURSDAY NIGHT SHOULD BE 5 TO 10
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL AND HIGHS FRIDAY AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL.
