Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
755 AM EST Thu Feb 16 2017

The region will be in between a departing deepening low pressure
system to the northeast and an approaching high to the west. As a
result, expect windy conditions today as northwest winds gust to
30 to 35 mph. In addition, a weak upper level disturbance will
move across the region today. This will provide the area with
partly to mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of a snow
shower or flurry. Highs today will only reach the 30s to near 40.

Dry conditions are expected for tonight and Friday as high
pressure approaches the region.

Tonight, lows will fall into the teens and 20s. On Friday, expect
mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
