Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
343 PM EST Tue Feb 21 2017

High pressure moves off the coast tonight and a weakening cold
front will approach from the west. This will bring clouds into
the region overnight with a slight chance of light rain.
Temperatures will not be as cold as last night with lows in the
mid to upper 30s, with a few lower 40s across New York City.

Some early clouds and spotty light rain will give way to
developing sunshine by Wednesday afternoon as temperatures begin
to climb well above average, especially across western areas. A
southerly flow will bring in low level moisture resulting in a
good deal of cloud cover with areas of patchy fog and drizzle for
Wednesday night into Thursday. Despite clouds, temperatures will
continue to average well above normal.
