Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
354 PM EDT Tue Apr 18 2017

High pressure north of the region will move east tonight. This
will result in onshore winds, with more clouds moving in during
tonight and into Wednesday. Temperatures will cool to near normal
levels tonight and below normal on Wednesday.

A frontal system will approach for Wednesday night into
Thursday. This will result in an increasing chance of showers by
Wednesday evening. A milder southwesterly flow ahead of the front
will lead to warmer conditions as temperatures climb slightly
above normal into Thursday.

A storm system out of the Great Lakes will draw closer during
Thursday night. This will once again lead to an increasing chance
of showers by late Thursday evening.
