A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA
TODAY...PRECEDED BY HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.
THE HEAVIEST RAINS WILL CLEAR THE NYC METRO AND LOWER HUDSON VALLEY
BY MID MORNING...AND EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT
BY MID AFTERNOON. THERE COULD BE SOME LINGERING SHOWERS INTO THE
EVENING FOR FAR EASTERN AREAS. IT WILL REMAIN WARM AND HUMID UNTIL
THE FRONT PASSES.

HUMIDITY LEVELS DROP TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY WITH CLOUDS DECREASING IN
COVERAGE. HOWEVER...ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE WITH
HIGHS ON FRIDAY AROUND 70...AND LOWS MAINLY IN THE 50S.
