HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE AREA SLIDES OFFSHORE TODAY. AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE WILL IMPACT THE AREA TODAY INTO EARLY MONDAY BRINGING A
CHANCE FOR MIXED WINTER PRECIPITATION. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO START
LATER THIS MORNING AND TAPER OFF JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
ACROSS NEW YORK CITY METRO AND LONG ISLAND...THE SNOW IS EXPECT TO
MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN LATER THIS EVENING. EVEN SMALL AMOUNTS OF
FREEZING RAIN IS VERY TREACHEROUS...AND TRAVEL WILL GO DOWN HILL
RAPIDLY AFTER DARK.

THE ICE AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TO ME MOSTLY TAPERED OFF BEFORE THE
MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE...BUT UNTREATED ROADS AND WALKWAYS ARE
EXPECTED TO STILL BE SLIPPERY.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE AREA MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. A SLOW
MOVING FRONTAL SYSTEM AFFECTS THE AREA FROM LATE TUESDAY INTO
EARLY THURSDAY. HIGH PRESSURE THEN BUILDS IN LATER ON THURSDAY.
