Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
333 PM EDT Fri May 26 2017

Weak high pressure will build into the region tonight, providing
dry conditions through at least Saturday morning as clouds slowly
diminish. Temperatures will be near normal for this time of year,
ranging from the lower 50s in the outlying areas, to around 60 in
the New York City metro area.

Clouds will increase Saturday morning as a disturbance to the
west will move through Saturday afternoon and push offshore
Saturday night. As such, a passing shower is possible during this
timeframe. Temperatures will run a few degrees below normal given
more clouds than sun. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Sunday will feature mainly dry conditions as another area of weak
high pressure passes over the area. The next chance for rain will
occur Sunday night and continue into Memorial Day as a frontal
system approaches from the west.
