Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
340 PM EST Mon Nov 28 2016

Clouds will thicken and lower tonight, along with increasing
chances for light rain as a warm front approaches the area from
the southwest. Temperatures will be warmer than Sunday night as
southerly winds bring in a warmer air mass. Expect lows to range
from the lower to middle 30s inland, to the middle and upper 40s
in the New York City metro area.

Tuesday will feature rain as the warm front continues its approach
and lifts just north of the region Tuesday night. The rain could
come down heavy at times, especially in the late morning through
the evening time frame, when a rumble of thunder is possible.
Areas of fog will also be possible. Temperatures will be on the
warm side for this time of year, middle 50s to lower 60s.

After a brief respite Tuesday night, more rain is in the forecast
for the middle of the week, along with continued above normal
