Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
311 PM EST Thu Dec 1 2016

A much drier airmass has settled in place over the Tri-State
behind a departing low pressure system. Some clouds have
developed this afternoon, but are expected to dissipate overnight with
only a few lingering clouds across the interior.

The region is still located within a fairly tight pressure
gradient, so breezy conditions will continue. Temperatures will
fall into the 30s tonight, still running a few degrees above
normal for early December.

A nice December day is in store for Friday, with highs in the
upper 40s to near 50 degrees along with a chilly west wind.

Remaining dry through the weekend, with temperatures a few degrees
cooler, only topping out in the 40s.
