...COMPLEX WINTER STORM ON THE WAY...

A COMPLEX WINTER STORM IS TAKING SHAPE ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST UNITED
STATES THIS EVENING. THE STORM IS ON TRACK TO MOVE UP ALONG...AND
JUST EAST OF THE EASTERN SEABOARD...AND IMPACT THE LOCAL REGION LATE
TONIGHT AND ALL DAY SATURDAY.

PRECIPITATION IS FORECAST TO TAKE SEVERAL FORMS. HOWEVER...AT
FIRST...BEFORE MIDNIGHT AND DAYBREAK...LOOK FOR PRIMARILY SNOW. THE
SNOW WILL SPREAD FROM SOUTH TO NORTH...IMPACTING NORTHERN NEW JERSEY
AND NEW YORK CITY FIRST...THEN SPREAD ACROSS THE REST OF THE AREA
BEFORE DAYBREAK.

AFTER DAYBREAK...THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MIX WITH RAIN...SLEET AND
EVEN FREEZING RAIN ACROSS THE CITY AND COAST. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED
TO LAST LONGER INLAND.

TRAVEL IS LIKELY TO BE HAZARDOUS BY DAYBREAK...AND CONTINUE SO ALL
DAY. THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION SHOULD TAPER OFF FROM SOUTH TO NORTH
BETWEEN 7 AND 9 PM.

SUNDAY IS EXPECTED TO BE DRY AND SEASONABLY COLD.
