Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
353 PM EST Sat Nov 18 2017

A strengthening low pressure system centered over the Eastern Great
Lakes will pass into SE Canada and allow a surge of warmer
temperatures into the region with its associated warm front.
Temperatures are expected to rise above normal overnight ahead of
the warm front, bringing gusty southerly winds and an increased
chance for moderate rain and cloudy conditions with its passage.

As the low pressure passes well to the north, the associated cold
front sweeps through the region early on Sunday bringing the rain to
an end. Skies are expected to clear throughout the day with winds
expected to remain quite gusty before dropping off overnight.
Temperatures are expected to drop to below normal for Monday. High
pressure builds into the region on Monday allowing fair conditions
to dominate.
