FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS THE TRI-STATE. HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE
MID 30S TO AROUND 40. ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE THEN BUILDS IN THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT THEN SLIDES OFFSHORE ON TUESDAY...THIS WILL BRING
DRY...BUT VERY COLD WEATHER TO THE TRI-STATE.

LOWS SUNDAY NIGHT WILL BE 10 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...WITH WIND
CHILLS SHOULD MAINLY BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO...EXCEPT FOR
IN THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO FOR INTERIOR PORTIONS OF THE
TRI-STATE. HIGHS MONDAY WILL BE REACHED IN THE MORNING...WITH
TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE AFTERNOON. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
PRODUCE WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO BY LATE MONDAY
AFTERNOON.

MONDAY NIGHT WILL BE BITTERLY COLD...WITH LOWS MAINLY NEAR OR JUST
ABOVE ZERO FOR COASTAL AREAS AND NEW YORK CITY AND IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS BELOW ZERO ELSEWHERE. A GUSTY NORTHWEST WIND IN THE EVENING
SHOULD PRODUCE WIND CHILLS AROUND 5 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. HIGHS
TUESDAY WILL BE AROUND 20 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...STRUGGLING TO REACH
THE UPPER TEENS TO LOWER TWENTIES ACROSS THE TRI-STATE.
