Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
334 PM EDT Sun Aug 13 2017

With high pressure remaining in control through the day on Monday,
dry and seasonable conditions are expected for the start of the
work week. A weak cold front will then approach the region on
Tuesday, but other than an isolated shower or thunderstorm north
and west of the city the area is expected to remain dry.

Radiational cooling will allow overnight lows to fall into the
mid to upper 50s across outlying areas tonight. Elsewhere, lows
will remain near normal across the region, generally in the mid
60s to around 70. Daytime highs will remain seasonable on Monday
before rising to around 5 degrees above normal for Tuesday.
