WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
346 PM EDT SAT AUG 22 2015

MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR MOST OF THE AREA THROUGH
THIS EVENING. HOWEVER...AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED IN THE
WESTERN ATLANTIC PUSHES THE THREAT OF SHOWERS WESTWARD THIS
EVENING. THESE SHOWERS WILL BE WIDELY SCATTERED AND THE BEST
CHANCES FOR ANY RAIN WILL BE IN SOUTHEAST CT.

THE ENTIRE AREA WILL SEE AN INCREASE IN CLOUD COVER TONIGHT AS
WELL AS THE CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS INTO SUNDAY. RAIN
AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT...EXCEPT IN AREAS THAT RECEIVE A
THUNDERSTORM. HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER
70S TO LOW 80S.

A COLD FRONT SLOWLY APPROACHES FROM THE WEST ON MONDAY BRINGING
BACK THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL
BE SLIGHTLY ABOVE OR NEAR NORMAL.
