...THE REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY...

AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO MOVE OFF TO THE NORTH AND
EAST...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION THROUGH TONIGHT. A
WARM FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE SOUTHWEST ON
TUESDAY...POSSIBLY BRINGING A FEW SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS WITH IT
WELL NORTH AND WEST OF NYC DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THE CHANCE
FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING
AS LOW PRESSURE PASSES TO THE NORTH AND A COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS
THE AREA.

DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL BE A FEW DEGREES BELOW NORMAL TO START THE
PERIOD...IN THE MID 70S TO AROUND 80...BEFORE RISING TO NEAR NORMAL
VALUES BY MID WEEK.
