HIGH PRESSURE MOVES OFFSHORE TONIGHT ALLOWING A TROUGH OF LOW
PRESSURE TO MOVE INTO THE AREA. THIS TROUGH BRINGS LIGHT SNOW
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT...BUT THE BULK OF THE SNOW SHOULD REMAIN EAST OF
NEW YORK CITY ACROSS EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN
CONNECTICUT WITH ACCUMULATIONS GENERALLY AROUND ONE INCH.

TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO NEAR FREEZING DURING THE DAY ON
WEDNESDAY...BUT WITH WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH...TEMPERATURES WILL FEEL
CLOSER TO 20. FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
BELOW NORMAL...WITH HIGHS IN THE 20S AND LOWS AROUND 10. THESE
EXPECTED TEMPERATURES ARE AROUND 20 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR
LATE FEBRUARY.
