HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY WILL KEEP CLOUDS MINIMAL
BUT TONIGHT THE CLOUDS INCREASE AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES AWAY TO
THE CANADIAN MARITIMES AND A FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE
WEST. TEMPERATURES WILL NOT BE AS WARM AS MONDAY WITH NORTHERLY
FLOW HELPING TO BRING IN SOME RELATIVELY COOLER AIR BUT STILL
WILL END BEING ABOVE NORMAL. FORECAST HIGHS ARE IN THE MID TO
UPPER 40S FOR MOST LOCATIONS. FORECAST LOWS TONIGHT WILL LIKELY BE
SET IN THE EVENING...LOWER 30S TO LOWER 40S FOR MOST PLACES...WITH
SLIGHTLY WARMING TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY AS A WARM
FRONT APPROACHES.

THE WARM FRONT MOVES ACROSS WEDNESDAY FOLLOWED BY A COLD FRONT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. SHOWERS WILL BE DEVELOPING AND MOVING ACROSS THE
REGION WITH MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. THE SHOWERS CONTINUE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BUT GRADUALLY DECREASE FROM NORTHWEST TO
SOUTHEAST. THEY LINGER INTO EARLY THURSDAY AS LOW PRESSURE
DEVELOPS ALONG THE COLD FRONT AFTER IT MOVES SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND.
THE TEMPERATURES WILL STILL BE MILD WEDNESDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY...WITH VALUES WELL ABOVE NORMAL. NORMAL HIGHS AND LOWS
ARE AROUND 40 AND THE UPPER 20S RESPECTIVELY. FORECAST
TEMPERATURES ARE WELL INTO THE 50S WEDNESDAY...IN THE 40S
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AND IN THE UPPER 40S TO NEAR 50 FOR THURSDAY.
