WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
437 AM EDT SUN AUG 23 2015

A WEAKENING FRONTAL BOUNDARY AND A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WELL
SOUTH AND EAST OF THE AREA WILL ALLOW FOR A CHANCE FOR
SHOWERS...MAINLY ACROSS CT. MOST OF THE REST OF THE REGION WILL
SEE DRY CONDITIONS...WITH JUST A PASSING SHOWER POSSIBLE. THERE
WILL BE MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN...ESPECIALLY ACROSS EASTERN SECTIONS.
THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP TEMPERATURES CLOSER TO NORMAL FOR THIS TIME
OF YEAR...UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S. HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL BE ON THE
INCREASE AS DEWPOINTS RISE INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 60S BY LATE
AFTERNOON.

A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS CONTINUES TONIGHT AS THE WEAK LOW OFF
SHORE PASSES WELL EAST OF THE AREA. A HUMID AIRMASS WILL PREVENT
TEMPERATURES FROM DROPPING TOO MUCH...WITH LOWS IN THE 60S TO
LOWER 70S EXPECTED.

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW
WORK WEEK...ALLOWING UNSETTLED CONDITIONS TO CONTINUE. WARMER
TEMPERATURES ARE IN STORE FOR MONDAY AS THERE WILL BE MORE IN THE
WAY OF SUN.
