HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD OVER THE REGION THROUGH THE FIRST
HALF OF THE WEEKEND...WITH DRY WEATHER CONTINUING. OVERNIGHT LOWS
WILL BE SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...RANGING FROM NEAR 50 ACROSS
INTERIOR SECTIONS TO THE LOWER 60S AROUND NEW YORK CITY. IN
FACT...SOME AREAS ACROSS INTERIOR ORANGE COUNTY LOOK TO FALL INTO
THE UPPER 40S.

AS HIGH PRESSURE TAKES HOLD...MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES CONTINUE ON
SATURDAY...WITH TEMPERATURES REBOUNDING INTO THE LOWER TO MID 80S.
CLOUDS AND PRECIPITATION CHANCES THEN SLOWLY INCREASE SATURDAY NIGHT
AS A FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST. LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE
MID 50S ACROSS THE FAR INTERIOR TO THE MID TO UPPER 60S AROUND NEW
YORK CITY.

SUNDAY WILL SEE A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE
AREA...AS THE COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS THE TRI-STATE. HIGHS WILL
GENERALLY BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 80S...WITH A FEW INTERIOR AND
COASTAL SPOTS STAYING IN THE UPPER 70S.
