A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TODAY BRINGING THE
LIKELIHOOD OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. SOME OF
THE STORMS COULD MAY BECOME SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE
HAIL THE PRIMARY THREATS. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...A GUSTY
SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL RESULT IN A HOT AND HUMID DAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB WELL INTO THE 80S...WITH LOWER 90S IN
NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY AND THE NEW YORK CITY METRO.

THE FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST OF THE AREA TONIGHT ENDING THE
THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. MUCH DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO
THE AREA AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE A BIT COOLER IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 80S WITH
LESS HUMIDITY.
