Weak low pressure will be passing to the south of Long Island
today bringing a chance of light rain to coastal Connecticut,
portions of northeastern New Jersey, New York City and Long
Island. The low will be moving to the east of Long Island early
this evening and precipitation will be ending. High pressure will
build slowly from the west behind the low. With clouds and rain
today, highs will be around 60 degrees across the region. Clearing
skies, a light north flow, and cooler air moving into the region
will allow lows to reach the mid 30s inland to the upper 40s
across metropolitan New York.

Sunday the high will be over the region with plenty of sunshine.
Temperatures will peak in the lower to mid 60s with upper 50s
across portions of Long Island.

The high moves east Sunday night and low pressure begins to
approach from the south, bringing a chance of rain by Monday
morning. Lows Sunday night will range in the 40s, with Monday`s
highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
