Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
356 PM EST Fri Dec 9 2016

High pressure over the Tennessee Valley will build in for tonight
and into Saturday. This will lead to dry and cold conditions
throughout much of the weekend. As the high moves closer the
winds will gradually diminish for late tonight and Saturday. Fair
skies are expected with perhaps a few flurries across interior
sections on Saturday. Temperatures will average 5 to 7 degrees
below normal through Sunday.

Clouds will begin to move into the area on Sunday in advance of a
warm front approaching from the Ohio Valley. By Sunday evening
light snow will develop, with the best chance across northwestern
sections.
