HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER EASTERN NEW ENGLAND THROUGH
THURSDAY. AT THE SAME TIME...AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL
APPROACH TODAY AND PASS TONIGHT...FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER ON THURSDAY.
IT WILL REMAIN MAINLY DRY THROUGH THE PERIOD DUE TO THE HIGH...BUT
THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL BE CAPABLE OF SPARKING A FEW
SHOWERS OR EVEN A FEW THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAIN THREAT FOR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE RELEGATED MOSTLY TO AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF
THE CITY WHERE A MORE UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT WILL RESIDE.
TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL BE CLOSE TO NORMAL...WITH READINGS A FEW
DEGREES COOLER ON THURSDAY DUE TO AN INCREASE IN CLOUD COVER.
