HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLIDE SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH THROUGH MONDAY. A
BACKDOOR COLD FRONT PUSHES SOUTH THROUGH THE TRI-STATE MONDAY
NIGHT...FOLLOWED BY HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE NORTH ON TUESDAY
AS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS NEAR THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST.

TODAY WILL BE MANLY SUNNY AND WARM...WITH NEAR RECORD TO RECORD HIGH
TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE. HIGHS WILL MAINLY BE FROM AROUND 80 TO THE
MID 80S...EXCEPT SLIGHTLY COOLER IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS TO THE
WEST AND NORTH OF NEW YORK CITY. PASSING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES
WILL BRING A FEW CLOUDS TONIGHT AND MONDAY. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RUN 5
TO 10 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL AND HIGHS ON MONDAY SHOULD BE A FEW
DEGREES COOLER THAN TODAY.

THE PASSAGE OF THE BACKDOOR FRONT WILL BRING THE CHANCE FOR SOME
ISOLATED SHOWERS OR SPRINKLES LATE MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY. LOWS
MONDAY NIGHT WILL BE AROUND 10 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. TUESDAY WILL BE
NOTICEABLY COOLER THAN THE PAST FEW DAYS...WITH HIGHS RETURNING TO
NEAR NORMAL LEVELS.
