Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
426 AM EST Tue Nov 21 2017

As high pressure moves off the Mid Atlantic coast today, a
relatively mild southerly flow will push temperatures towards the
60 degree mark under sunny skies.

A cold front will approach overnight from the Great Lakes bringing
rain for early Wednesday morning for much of the
region...especially New York City, Long Island and southern
Connecticut. The rain will likely make for a messy morning
commute.

As quick as the rain moves in, it will move out as the front
sweeps off the coast by afternoon.

A sunny and cool Thanksgiving Day is in store for the region as
Canadian high presses settles over the Northeast. Highs only in
the lower to mid 40s are forecast.
