A cold front will begin to approach the region from the west
overnight. This will lead to an increase in clouds along with

across New York City, near 30 along the coast, and mid to upper
20s in outlying areas.

Before the cold front moves through on Wednesday temperatures

range in the mid and upper 40s for the city and along the coast,
to the lower 40s in northern sections. There will be a slight
chance of a few rain and snow showers across northern sections as
the front moves through.

Behind the front colder air will move back into the region on a
gusty west to northwest flow into Thursday. Windchills by Thursday
morning will be in the mid to upper teens. High temperatures on
Thursday will be back below normal, in the mid and upper 30s.
