Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region

A weak cold front will move into the region from the west
overnight. This will bring clouds back in for the overnight and
into early Monday morning with the chance of snow showers. Lows
will range from the middle 20s well inland, to the upper 20s and
lower 30s for the city and along the coast. A reinforcing shot of
seasonably chilly air will move in for the day on Monday keeping
the region dry on a west wind.

Low pressure which will approach from the Great Lakes region for
Monday night into Tuesday. Clouds will increase Monday night with
a mix of rain and snow developing late for the city and along the
coast, with mainly snow inland. During Tuesday temperatures will
warm ahead of a cold front on a southwest wind. Any wintry
precipitation will change to all rain inland before ending during
the afternoon.

Much colder air will move in Tuesday night behind a series of
cold fronts. The coldest air of the season thus far will arrive by
Wednesday morning.
