AFTERNOON. ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWER ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED
WITH ITS PASSAGE TODAY...AND GUSTY WESTERLY WINDS IN ITS WAKE THIS
AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RUN IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S.

A REMARKABLY COOLER AIRMASS WILL MOVE IN SUNDAY...USHERED IN BY A
BREEZY NORTHWEST FLOW IN THE WAKE OF A REINFORCING COLD FRONT
TONIGHT. LOWS MAINLY IN THE 40S TONIGHT WILL ONLY RISE INTO THE 50S
SUNDAY.

FROST AND FREEZE CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE FOR MUCH OF THE AREA SUNDAY
NIGHT...WITH TEMPS RANGING FROM THE UPPER 20S TO MID 30S. THE
COLDEST TEMPS WILL BE ACROSS INTERIOR PORTIONS OF THE LOWER HUDSON
VALLEY AND SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT...WHILE TEMPS ACROSS THE NEW YORK
CITY METRO HOLD IN THE 40S.

HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES TO THE SOUTH OF THE REGION FOR NEXT MONDAY
WITH SOME REBOUND OF DAYTIME HIGHS TO NEAR 60 DEGREES.
