HIGH PRESSURE SHIFTS OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST OVERNIGHT AS A WEAK
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM PASSES TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF LONG ISLAND.
THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS EARLY TONIGHT FOR SOUTHEASTERN
CONNECTICUT AS AN AREAS OF SHOWERS PASSES THROUGH.
THEREAFTER...THERE IS JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS FOR THE
EASTERN HALF OF LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT THAT WILL
ACCOMPANY THE LOW AS IT APPROACHES. LOWS WILL BE SLIGHTLY BELOW
NORMAL...MIDDLE 50S TO MIDDLE 60S NEAR THE NEW YORK CITY METRO.

WITH PLENTY OF MOISTURE REMAINING NEAR THE AREA...MOSTLY CLOUDY
SKIES WILL CONTINUE ON SUNDAY. THIS WILL HELP KEEP HIGH TEMPERATURES
SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL. DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT WITH
LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S TO UPPER 60S.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS BACK IN FOR MONDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S
TO LOWER 80S.
