WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
425 PM EST WED NOV 19 2014

DRY AND COLD CONDITIONS CONTINUE TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS
SUPPRESSED TO THE SOUTH OF THE AREA. ALTHOUGH IT WILL BE COLD...IT
WILL NOT BE AS COLD AS PREVIOUS NIGHTS...WITH LOWS RANGING FROM THE
LOWER 20S INLAND...TO LOWER 30S IN THE NYC METRO AREA. THE WARMER
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN RESPONSE TO A WARM FRONT THAT WILL LIFT WELL
NORTH OF THE AREA AND ALLOW WINDS TO SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST.
TEMPERATURES MAY ACTUALLY RISE AFTER MIDNIGHT OR REMAIN STEADY
IN MANY PLACES.

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH AND MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THURSDAY.
DESPITE THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT...IT WILL REMAIN DRY ACROSS THE
REGION...WITH MORE SUN THAN CLOUDS ON THURSDAY. THE WARMER
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE...BUT THEY WILL STILL BE BELOW NORMAL.
HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S TO MIDDLE 40S ON THURSDAY.

AFTER THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT...WINDS WILL SHIFT TOWARD THE
WEST AND BRING IN A REINFORCING SHOT OF COLD AIR FOR THE END OF THE
WEEK INTO THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL ONCE
AGAIN NOT MAKE IT OUT OF THE 30S ON FRIDAY...BUT WARMER TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED INTO THE WEEKEND.
