Dry and sunny conditions will continue today as high pressure sinks
south of the area. Highs on today will be around 40 area-wide.

Clouds will begin to increase tonight as an area of low pressure
approaches from the west. Rain will overspread the area during the
day on Tuesday, possibly starting as a period of freezing rain
Tuesday morning. The best chance for any freezing rain will be
north and west of New York City across parts of northeast New
Jersey and the Lower Hudson Valley. Highs on Tuesday will range
from the mid 30s inland to near 40 closer to the coast.
