Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
412 PM EDT Fri Jun 23 2017

Warm and humid conditions will continue into the overnight hours,
with lows only falling into the low to mid 70s tonight. Any
showers and thunderstorms this evening will become more numerous
overnight as a cold front approaches the region from the west.
With tropical moisture riding along the front, these showers and
storms will be capable of producing heavy rain and gusty winds.

Rain will taper off Saturday morning into the afternoon as the
front pushes east of the region, and the remainder of the weekend
will remain dry with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures on Saturday
will be around 5 degrees above normal, in the mid 80s to around
90. Sunday will be several degrees cooler, with highs in the low
to mid 80s.
