A cold front will bring a round of showers and embedded
thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. There is a slight
risk that thunderstorms could reach severe limits, with the
greatest threat being damaging winds. The cold front will exit the
region tonight, leaving behind a much cooler air mass.

A noticeably cooler day tomorrow with temperatures 15 to 25
degrees cooler than today, with highs mainly in the lower to mid
40s. Gusty winds will also follow the frontal passage, with the
potential for gusts up to 45 to 50 mph late tonight into Thursday
evening.

A clipper could bring some light snow to the region on Friday,
with colder than normal temperatures.
