...THE REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WILL KEEP CONDITIONS DRY THROUGH
SATURDAY. CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO
BE VERY COLD WITH LOWS FALLING INTO THE TEENS ACROSS A LARGE PART
OF THE TRI-STATE AREA. A FEW LOCATIONS WELL NORTH AND WEST OF NEW
YORK CITY AND THE LONG ISLAND PINE BARRENS COLD SEE TEMPERATURES
DROP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS. ACROSS NEW YORK CITY...LOWS WILL FALL
INTO THE MIDDLE 20S.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS SOUTH OF THE REGION DURING THE DAY SATURDAY.
WINDS WILL BECOME MORE WESTERLY ALLOWING TEMPERATURES TO WARM A
BIT. HIGHS WILL CLIMB INTO THE UPPER 30S AND LOWER 40S. DESPITE
THE WARMER TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY...WE WILL STILL BE A GOOD TEN
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
