...THE REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY...

ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD INTO THE REGION
TONIGHT...PROVIDING DRY CONDITIONS. WITH LIGHT WINDS AND MAINLY
CLEAR SKIES FOR MUCH OF THE NIGHT...TEMPERATURES WILL PLUMMET TO
THE TEENS IN THE NORMALLY COLDER AREAS AWAY FROM THE NEW YORK CITY
METRO AREA. SOME ISOLATED SINGLE DIGITS ARE EVEN POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS. LOWS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 20S ARE EXPECTED IN THE METRO
AREA. CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE MAINLY LATE TONIGHT.

MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING AS
THE ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD INTO THE REGION
THROUGH TUESDAY AND THEN MOVES OVER THE REGION AND OFFSHORE BY
WEDNESDAY. AFTER ANOTHER COLD DAY ON MONDAY WITH HIGHS NOT GETTING
OUT OF THE 30S REGION-WIDE...TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON A WARMING
TREND...WITH SLIGHTLY WARMER READINGS ON TUESDAY...AND
TEMPERATURES WELL INTO THE 40S BY WEDNESDAY.
