Outside of a passing shower for eastern areas, it will be mainly
dry tonight into Tuesday morning as a weak area of low pressure
passes well east of the area. Some of the showers may mix with
snow for southeastern Connecticut during this time frame. Clouds
will be on the increase, mainly late. It will be seasonably cold,
with lows ranging from the upper 20s well north of New York City,
to the upper 30s in the metro area.

Tuesday will feature more clouds than sun and combined with a
northerly flow, the seasonably chilly temperatures will continue.
Expect highs in the middle to upper 40s. A passing shower is
possible Tuesday afternoon for eastern areas.

Slightly warmer conditions are in store for Wednesday, but it will
still be below normal for this time of year. The next chance for
any precipitation will be Wednesday night with the approach of
another cold front.
