Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
402 AM EDT Mon May 22 2017

Periods of rain are expected today as a warm front gradually
approaches from the southwest, followed quickly by a cold frontal
passage tonight. High temperatures will be below normal due to
cloud cover and onshore flow. Overnight rainfall will taper off
from west to east, with low temperatures remaining close to
climatological normals.

The early portion of Tuesday will mainly be dry before an area of
low pressure approaches from the southwest, bringing increasing
chances of rain by evening. The unsettled conditions will continue
through late week as a series of low pressure systems move through
the region.
