Dry, unseasonably cool conditions will prevail today as deepening
low pressure tracks across the Canadian maritimes, while high
pressure builds in from the west. Gusty northwest winds will be
slow to weaken through this afternoon. Highs will top out from the
mid 40s well inland, to near 50 at the coast. This is a few
degrees below normal.

High pressure will pass through the area overnight and then
offshore on Saturday as frontal system approaches from the west.
Southerly winds will strengthen on Saturday with showers likely by
late in the day. After a chilly morning start, temperatures will
rebound into the 50s.
