SHOWERS TAPER OFF THIS MORNING AS A COLD FRONT WORKS ITS WAY
SOUTH THROUGH THE REGION. BEHIND THE FRONT...HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS
TO BUILD INTO THE NORTHEAST AND NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO
15 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH. THIS LEADS TO DRYING
CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. HIGHS TODAY WILL TOP
OFF IN THE UPPER 60S TO AROUND 70.

CLEAR AND COLD TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVERHEAD. LOWS WILL
RANGE FROM THE MID 40S IN AND AROUND NEW YORK CITY...TO AROUND 40
FOR MOST COASTAL AREAS...TO THE LOW TO MID 30S FOR AREAS ACROSS
THE INTERIOR AND EASTERN LONG ISLAND.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVERHEAD ON SUNDAY WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING
FROM THE LOW 60S ACROSS LONG ISLAND AND CONNECTICUT TO THE UPPER
60S ELSEWHERE.
