AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE REGION TONIGHT INTO EARLY
SATURDAY MORNING...PRODUCING A FEW SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS AND
FLURRIES THIS EVENING AND USHERING IN A DANGEROUSLY COLD AIR MASS
FOR THE WEEKEND.

BEHIND THE FRONT...HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER TEENS
WILL OCCUR SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE DROPPING INTO THE SINGLE
DIGITS AND LOWER TEENS BY LATE AFTERNOON. OVERNIGHT LOWS SATURDAY
NIGHT WILL DROP TO NEAR 0 ACROSS LONG ISLAND...NEW YORK CITY...AND
NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY...AND 5 TO 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ACROSS MUCH
OF CONNECTICUT AND THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY. IN ADDITION...GUSTY
NORTHWEST WINDS WILL MAKE IT FEEL EVEN COLDER...WITH WIND CHILLS
OF 20 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW ZERO LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING.

WHILE WINDS WILL DECREASE BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON...TEMPERATURES WILL
STRUGGLE TO RISE INTO THE MID TEENS DESPITE PLENTY OF SUNSHINE.
