HIGH PRESSURE TO THE SOUTH WILL PROVIDE DRY AND MOSTLY CLEAR...BUT
BITTERLY COLD CONDITIONS TODAY AND TONIGHT ACROSS THE REGION.
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 20 AND 25 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL...WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER TO MID 20S THIS AFTERNOON AND LOWER
TEENS AT THE COAST AND SINGLE DIGITS INLAND TONIGHT.

DRY WEATHER CONTINUES ON SATURDAY...ALTHOUGH CLOUDS WILL INCREASE AS
THE HIGH SINKS SOUTHWARD AND A CLIPPER SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE
GREAT LAKES. THIS SYSTEM WILL TRACK THROUGH NEW ENGLAND WITH
POSSIBLY SOME FLURRIES OR SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS SATURDAY NIGHT AS
ITS ATTENDING COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE LOCAL AREA. TEMPERATURES
WILL REMAIN WELL BELOW NORMAL SATURDAY...BUT MANY LOCATIONS SHOULD
REACH THE FREEZING MARK. NEAR TO SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL LOWS ARE
EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT.
