Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
412 PM EST Sat Feb 25 2017

A cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region
early Saturday evening. Some storms, north and west of New York
City, may bring strong gusty winds. The storms will weaken
rapidly as they move east across New York City, Long Island, and
Connecticut tonight.

The cold front will usher in much more seasonable weather for
the second half of the weekend. After overnight lows in the mid to
upper 30s, highs on Sunday will only rise into the lower to mid
40s, right around normal for this time of year. Dry weather will
continue and above normal temperatures will return on Monday as
high pressure builds south of the region.
