Regional Weather Summary for Southeastern NY, Northeastern NJ and
Southern CT

Low pressure off the Mid Atlantic coast will move north and come
closer to the region tonight. Showers will become more numerous
late tonight and into Tuesday morning. Temperatures tonight will
be slightly above normal, with lows in the 50s region wide.

Scattered showers, along with the possibility of a few
thunderstorms are expected for Tuesday as low pressure moves east
of the area. Temperatures will be near, to slightly below normal
as highs reach the mid and upper 60s across eastern coastal
sections, and lower 70s across New York City and western

Skies will clear Tuesday night and into Wednesday as low pressure
departs to the northeast. The winds switch around to the west
resulting in drier and warmer conditions. By Wednesday afternoon
temperatures will climb 10 to 15 degrees above normal with a
return to sunshine.
