SATURDAY AS ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS WELL SOUTHEAST OF
THE REGION. WITH COLDER AIR FILTERING INTO THE AREA...
PRECIPITATION WILL MIX WITH AND CHANGE TO WET SNOW TONIGHT THROUGH
THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THE HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT...WHERE 1-3 INCHES
OF SNOW IS EXPECTED. ELSEWHERE...ANY ACCUMULATIONS WILL GENERALLY
REMAIN UNDER 1 INCH.

SKIES WILL CLEAR ON SUNDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE AREA.
DESPITE THE INCREASED SUNSHINE...TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ABOUT 10
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...EXCEPT IN THE IMMEDIATE NEW YORK CITY METRO
AREA WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL BE CLOSER TO 5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
