Low pressure over the Mid Atlantic region will slowly move
northeast. This will bring rain and a few thunderstorms tonight,
with average rainfall amounts near one inch, and higher amounts
near an inch and a half in parts of northeast New Jersey and
southern Connecticut. Areas of patchy fog will develop after
midnight.

Most of the remaining showers early on Wednesday should taper off
by afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy through the afternoon.

Clouds will linger for Wednesday night into Thursday, with mainly
dry weather in between weather systems. Nighttime temperatures
will remain above average through the period, with daytime
temperatures near average.
