METRO AREA. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL POSSIBLE
THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY
PRODUCE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL.

DRY WEATHER EXPECTED TO START THE DAY ON TUESDAY WITH PARTLY CLOUDY
SKIES AND A WARM SOUTHERLY WIND. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE SOME OF
THE WARMEST OF THE YEAR...UPPER 80S TO THE MIDDLE 90S NEAR NEW YORK
CITY. MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX VALUES COULD REACH INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE
90S ACROSS THE AREA. THERE IS A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
IN THE LATE AFTERNOON TO EARLY EVENING WITH HIGHEST CHANCES NORTH
