WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
355 PM EST FRI DEC 26 2014

HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR SOUTH WILL PROTECT THE AREA FROM ANY STORM
SYSTEMS THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY WITH MAINLY CLEAR SKIES EXPECTED
TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOUT 5 TO 10 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL...WITH LOWS RANGING FROM THE UPPER 20S IN THE OUTLYING
AREAS...TO AROUND 40 IN THE NYC METRO REGION.

THE HIGH WILL PUSH OFF THE EAST COAST DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY.
THIS WILL ALLOW WINDS TO SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST AND ALLOW FOR THE
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES TO CONTINUE. HIGHS ON SATURDAY WILL BE IN
THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 50S.

THE NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL COME LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY
AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. COLDER AIR WILL QUICKLY
FOLLOW THE PASSAGE OF THE FRONT...ALLOWING FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF
SNOW MIXING IN WITH THE RAIN LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. NO
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.
