WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
345 PM EDT SUN MAY 24 2015

AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE LOCATED OVER THE WESTERN ATLANTIC WILL BE A
PERSISTENT WEATHER FEATURE AS WE HEAD INTO MEMORIAL DAY AND SEVERAL
DAYS BEYOND. THIS WILL MEAN THE LOCAL AREA WILL BECOME WARMER WITH
AN INCREASE IN THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY.

TONIGHT WILL FEATURE A CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKY WITH LOWS AROUND
5 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE RANGE OF LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE FROM
THE MID 50S TO THE LOWER 60S.

MEMORIAL DAY IS EXPECTED TO BE DRY BUT THERE WILL BE ABUNDANT MID
AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDINESS. THESE CLOUDS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO IMPACT
THE TEMPERATURES FROM RISING...AS WE EXPECT LOWER TO MIDDLE 80S IN
THE INTERIOR AND 70S ELSEWHERE.

WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WEDNESDAY FOR THE NEXT CHANCE FOR NEEDED
RAINFALL...AS A STATIONARY FRONT STARTS TO EDGE EASTWARD.

REPEATING...THE THEME OF THE UPCOMING WEEK WILL BE WARMER AND
BECOMING MORE HUMID.
