HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST THROUGH TUESDAY AND
WILL HELP KEEP THE AREA DRY THROUGH THAT TIME FRAME. AS A WEAK
SURFACE LOW PASSES SOUTH AND EAST OF LONG ISLAND OVERNIGHT...SKIES
WILL BEGIN TO CLEAR WEST TO EAST. LOWS WILL BE SLIGHTLY BELOW
NORMAL...RANGING FROM THE MIDDLE 50S INLAND...TO UPPER 60S NEAR THE
NEW YORK CITY METRO AREA.

PLENTY OF SUNSHINE EXPECTED FOR THE AREA ON MONDAY WITH AREAS TO THE
SOUTH AND EAST HANGING ON TO CLOUDS A BIT LONGER THAN THE REST OF
THE AREA. HIGHS WILL REMAIN SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL...UPPER 70S TO
MIDDLE 80S. THE COOLEST TEMPERATURES WILL BE ALONG THE COAST DUE TO
AN AFTERNOON SEA BREEZE. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE WARMER THAN PREVIOUS
NIGHTS AND NEAR NORMAL...LOWER 60S TO AROUND 70.

TEMPERATURES CONTINUE TO MODERATE ON TUESDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 80S AND PARTLY SUNNY SKIES WITH MAINLY DRY
CONDITIONS. A STRAY SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM CANNOT BE RULED OUT
ACROSS AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY.
