Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region

A slow moving cold front will begin to push through the region
late tonight. This will keep clouds in place, along with a chance
of showers and thunderstorms late tonight. Continued warm and
humid with low temperatures mainly in the low and mid 70s, with a
few mid and upper 60s in some far northwestern sections.

During Sunday morning as the cold front pushes through there will
be some early showers and thunderstorms east of New York City.
Otherwise, mostly sunny skies will be expected with temperatures
averaging a few degrees above normal with high temperatures near
90 in urban areas, with mainly mid and upper 80s elsewhere.

Temperatures will continue to average above normal Sunday night
into Monday. A trough of low pressure will approach late on Monday
bringing the region its next chance of showers and thunderstorms.
